Firework Photography Tips

Hello world!

I really hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July.

In this weeks photography class the topic was about fireworks and how to capture them. The instructor told us what setting to use, so I decided to try it out myself.

Here are the steps:

#1 – You need to be on a tripod and use a shutter release button (if you don’t have one use the camera self timer).

#2 – Keep your ISO as low as you can to avoided any grain.

#3 – Use manual mode and set an aperture of f11 – f16.

#4 – Set your lens to manual focus, frame your shot and focus it.

#5 – Press the shutter and let the camera do its magic.

**Please remember that if your lens has a vibration reduction switch make sure you set it to off while on a tripod**

This is what I was able to capture and let me say that It was a lot of fun 😊

You can use these settings for any night photography.

Treasure your life

DSC_5436

Mondays words of wisdom:

Treasure your life and health. Live it to the max and don’t worry about what others think or say.

Its true guys, we need to really live our lives to the max because we are only here for a short moment.

We never know how long we will be here. We can be here now, but gone the next.

So live your life without fear. If you want to do, start or say something, now is the best time because tomorrow is never guaranteed.

If your worried about what others might say, who cares it’s your life not theirs!

Don’t live in fear of what others will think of you, if it makes you happy and it aligns with your personal morals GO FOR IT!

Don’t waste your life waiting for permission from others, your probably not going to get it anyways.

So live your best life, make the best of it and spread love and positivity.

Memorial weekend fun!

This memorial weekend was a busy one. I started with graduation photos on Saturday in Irvine, CA which I will have up as soon as I finish editing. Sunday we headed down to Long Beach to eat at The Attic. The attic is famous for its mac n cheetos. (Jalapeno, OG and Reggae) I’ve been here 3 times and the mac n cheetos is a must.

From the Attic we headed to my favorite spot, The Queen Mary. Every time I visit the Queen Mary it never disappoints! The history of this ship fascinates me along with its ghosts. We spent a few hours on board walking around the ship, visiting the famous B deck and other areas of the ship. This time we did not do a paid tour. I managed to capture this shot of the Long Beach city light.

If you are ever in the Long Beach area, the Queen Mary is a must, but first get some lunch at The Attic. 🙂
